Grand Opening Of Hud Section 202 Apartments Valle Del Desierto Independent Living For Very Low Income Seniors In Somerton, Az

Housing America Corporation, Somerton, Arizona, February 9, 2009 – Housing America Corporation will commemorate the Grand Opening of Valle Del Desierto in Somerton, AZ with a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 17, 2009. The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. at 245 S. Bingham Avenue Somerton, AZ. Congressman Raul Grijalva will be the key note speaker in this event.

Valle Del Desierto is a 5.3 million dollar US Department of Housing Urban Development Section 202 project and the first of its kind in Somerton, AZ. The new apartment complex consists of 44 new apartments including a community, computer and laundry rooms making Valle Del Desierto an independent living community. Section 202 is housing for very low-income seniors who are at least 62 years old at the time of initial occupancy.
